Hi, I'm Bethany Cherry. I am a national board-certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). I am a graduate of the Maryland University of Integrative Health and have a Master of Arts degree in Health and Wellness Coaching.
After suffering my own stress, burnout, and constant fatigue, I decided to pursue the path of coaching to help others create lifestyles that actually work for them.
I help driven women who are working professionals to increase their work-life balance and create more time for what matters most to them. This results in increased energy, burnout recovery, and peaceful relief from an overwhelming lifestyle.
What Is Coaching?
Health and wellness coaching is an approach that creates a partnership between the wellness coach and you, the individual. The coach collaborates with you to develop a plan that fits within your own values, preferences, and the context of your life. This coaching approach will allow you to take a leading role in your own health, while also allowing you to reach your health-related goals and vision.
As a health and wellness coach, I honor the fact that each client is an expert on their own life.

Explore evidence-based coaching strategies to get clear on your vision of a balanced lifestyle. We'll set achievable goals to accomplish over the course of your chosen coaching package.

Experience weekly accountability, supportive connection, and nurturing support. I'll be your ally every step of the way. If you choose a group package, you will experience the group accountability and a supportive sisterhood.

Includes six 60-min weekly video sessions, a weekly check-in, and unlimited Voxer support during the workweek (M-F) to celebrate, ask questions, or if you need goals support. Worksheets and tools as needed
60-minute weekly sessions occurring for 6 weeks. My aim is to offer you autonomy and flexibility on how you wish to be coached and what areas you would like to focus on. At the same time, this six-week program includes a soft structure (think of it as a roadmap) to identify your stressors and ‘un-balancers,’ guide you from where you currently stand with stress, overwhelm, and burnout due to unbalance in both your work life and personal life, and over 6 weeks working together we will progress to a personalized roadmap with a sustainable plan to integrate harmony, ease, and support systems to get you started with sustaining well-being beyond our coaching relationship. This option is great for clients who prefer a shorter coaching engagement, or perhaps what you need is a guide to help you solidify your well-being plan and you independently implement it.

If you would like support implementing your well-being plan and structuring it as a part of your daily life, this package is for you.

The initial first session, we will introduce each woman and create a community circle with norms that create a safe space and establish overarching goals for the duration of the group program. A pre-coaching survey determines coaching topics based on the group's needs. In the following 10 weeks, we will concentrate on a topic such as toxic productivity, stress, and overworking habits that lead to burnout, fatigue, and overwhelm. We will transform our relationship with work and busyness, resulting in increased work-life balance, “better balance” systems that leave you time for joy and nourishment, and relief from being busy all the time. The last session will be a closing celebration and plan for the future. Addresses work-life balance, stress, exhaustion, and burnout. Offers resources such as a value-based scheduling system and top burnout resources to help you bring harmony between your work commitments, time, energy, and most significant values in life. The group aims to provide a supportive circle of women of color just like you, who are ready to become unbusy and embrace a harmonious lifestyle, with their well-being as a top priority.

What is the difference between coaching
and
therapy?
Coaching
Coaches do not treat mental illnesses or diagnose their clients. Coaching is focused on helping you achieve future goals. The coaching process is oriented towards action and results, so the person can achieve goals they have not yet been able to.
Therapy
Therapists manage mental illnesses and diagnoses. Often, therapists are focused on the past and present. The therapy process is oriented towards understanding why things are the way they are so the person can process and heal from the past.
Both coaching and therapy are important resources that help people deal with life's challenges. They each have their unique purpose, so it is important to understand and identify which resource you are in need of. To learn more about the coaching process, click here.
